Now, those numbers might be a bit incredible, but porn is one of the most looked-at topics in human history, so why can’t it be true? Signing up to iFriends is free; you only pay for what you view, the private rooms you enter, the recorded scenes you purchase and download. iFriends isn’t breaking the mould with its online live entertainers, but it could be doing a very fine job, so let’s log-in and examine, shall we?

Pros:
The range of models appearing on iFriends servers is quite impressive. Women of all body shapes and sizes and ages appear next to men and amateur transgender stars, all of whom are eager to welcome you into their public and private chat rooms for a rollicking good time. As with all cam sites, what you get largely depends on your choice of model and that’s no different here at iFriends.

Most performers stream to you in strong video frames occasionally hitting HD resolutions but usually sitting around 600x800 pixels. When photo galleries are available they provide decent but hardly awesome images in modest resolutions.

From about $1 to about $9 per minute, you can join a model in her private room for one-on-one interactions or stick with public shows and the gaggle of horny onlookers. Cons:
There may not be 525,000 different performers here at iFriends, but there is a damn solid roster of about 6,500. Unfortunately for the discerning viewer used to a certain kind of attractiveness in their pornstars and, yes, even amateurs, the women of iFriends may come across as a little, well, plain or dull or homely and actually downright unappealing.

Most webcam shows throw some teases your way while you get worked up enough to spend some cash. iFriends does this but stays mostly non-nude with little more than suggestive talk (often text-only) and a little wriggling from the model where she sits. This might make it hard to convince yourself to pony up for a paid session.

Rooms are often empty, forcing the model to devote a lot of attention to you as soon as you enter. This can not only seem pretty insincere but already be a bit unnerving as you’re now kind-of, sort-of in control of an entire room. Having models plead with you to stay - not just ask but plead - is also not a very welcoming atmosphere.

With a few aesthetic problems, iFriends has some work to do. Speaking technically, though, that’s also true. Cam feeds could be given HD upgrades and overall viewing features could certainly be ironed out and improved. Paying 99¢ for individual photos and up to $85 for short videos is kind of ridiculous when things here are far from industry-leading.

Conclusion:
iFriends has some seriously stiff competition these days from major webcam sites that are now proving to be major players in the porn world at large. With an acceptable but hardly awe-inspiring roster of models, mostly Europeans, the site has plenty of quantity, just not a hell of a lot of quality to make it all worthwhile. Video streams flow quite well and can reach HD-ish quality at times. The chat rooms themselves tend to be pretty dull and lifeless much of the time, which is a shame as some models seem otherwise quite charming. Archived content relating to different performers can be found on their profile pages but don’t get too excited about a potential spending spree. Sure, single photos can cost less than a dollar but most videos are at least $5 and could be priced as high as $80 or $85 for a five minute clip! iFriends is trying, I’ll grant it that, but without a refined user interface that’s clearer and points more directly to affordable, active content it won’t win many new fans anytime soon.
