Pros:
Largely the work of one John B. Root, Explicite Art takes an elegant yet hardcore look at the sexual adventures of gorgeous European models. Advertising a French cast but occasionally hosting someone from another continental nation, Explicite Art features its models doing all manner of hardcore sex acts with and without condoms, as well as providing more elegant posing and masturbation scenes.

Whether getting pounded in the ass by three guys in turn or smoking a cigarette after orally finishing a restrained lover or simply standing and proudly showing off her physique, the many women of Explicite Art offer varying degrees of professional experience and distinct personal sexual styles. Cons:
Produced in France by a Frenchman and starring a predominantly French cast, it shouldn’t really surprise anyone to find that Explicte Art’s dialog and other onscreen conversation is delivered in French, not English. An English-language GUI helps you make your way around the site, but there’s no subtitling to clue you into the most important info: what’s fucking happening. (At least the accents are amazingly sexy!)

While some of Root’s work brings viewers a tangible sense of reality along with the sex itself, much of it is dressed up in such fantastic facades that it doesn’t really ring true to life at all. Now, this is likely Root’s intent, but it can feel like a lost opportunity when you have someone like Sharon Lee performing an excellent DP on a set that looks more like a combination medical examination room and sacrificial altar than anything you’ve fucked on.

Streams tend to look quite poor when compared to their downloaded equivalents. Pixilation and general blurriness is not uncommon with some streams faring worse than others; those limited to 720p with no 1080p option, are the most obvious examples. During the review process, while exploring Explicite Art, I encountered numerous brief but notable dips in server responsiveness. The site stopped responding to requests and left me hanging, looking at a continually idling cursor instead of the sweet, sweet double-penetrated behind of beurette goddess Paloma was especially frustrating.

Conclusion:
Explicite Art harkens back to a porno era where red latex bodices and elaborate makeup turned everyday sexual meetings into epic fantasy fucks. For some viewers, that retro-tinged style won’t be particularly welcome, though others will relish the blending of elegance and smuttiness that Root achieves on a regular basis. In streams and downloads that reach 720p when they fall short of 1080p, and in 3000px galleries heavy with teasing shots, much of this content looks quite good. A clean style only messed by bodily fluids and wandering pieces of costume showcases the models very well, their ethnic variety a welcome relief from what is often an all-too-white Euro porn scene. Updates could use some ironing out, erratic dates making it hard to determine the validity of the four-times-weekly claims made on the tour pages. The web design and navigation system could also use improving but it thankfully doesn’t effect the members experience too badly. Explicite Art, as a whole, could stand an upgrade (or at least a makeover) but its uniquely elegant hardcore is as enjoyable as ever.
